When he first came over to assess the tree, he told us in detail what he thinks was needed for the job and offered a very reasonable estimate. I gotta say, Servin's Tree Care has got to be the best bang for my buck. If Best customer service was a company, it's Servin's Tree Care. He was highly communicative, friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, I booked him during the so called Freeze of January 2026, and he called and said even though he was booked, he would squeeze me into his busy Thursday schedule and made sure my trees were taken care of beforehand. Mind you my appointment wasn't until the next day Friday afternoon. When they arrived, you could tell they are professionals because Jose and his crew got off the truck and went to work immediately! They run a well established operation. Had proof of insurance as requested with the quote, showed up properly geared with safety, did not make a lot of unnecessary yelling and noise. Worked the entire time besides a lunch break (could hear the saws). Jose and his crew were true professionals. Communication and coordination given the weather and my specific requests were top notch and pleasantly so. Sales/bid visit was best in class among other providers with over 100 reviews in 5-star category, he won't just tell you what he will do, he will point out exact branches and areas he will clear out in a way you cannot possibly misunderstand. They cared for my property and respected me and the property, as well as my neighbors' properties. They went out and put a tarp in the neighbor's property to prevent leaves and debris from making a mess by the pool and in the pool. Servins tree care did a wonderful job. It’s been several years since our trees were trimmed. They were starting to grow over the roof which was just replaced a couple years ago. The trees are looking their best in the 15 years I have them. The men worked fast and well together. We had the honor of meeting Jose before Hurricane Beryl that hit Houston on July 7th 2024, we had originally called him to trim our 200 yo Red Oak, he was in awe with the beauty of the tree, immediately noticed we had a momma woodpecker living up high in the tree which he said he would need to save/relocate before starting the trimming process. We immediately knew we found the right guy for the job!! Fast forward, the tree succumbed to the high winds that came through Sugarland. The tree was uprooted and now in tree heaven. LOL We called him back to cut it up, but was honest enough to say he wasn’t prepared for the size and heavy equipment required, which we appreciated. His honesty kept him #1 on our list. We had 2 large Mulberry trees that were pretty rotten, and were becoming a safety issue. We had Servins Tree Care come out and take a look at them, and they confirmed that we should remove them. They were very professional, and safety conscious. As a contractor I have worked with/around other tree care companies , most of them very good, but I haven’t seen many that are as respectful, courteous, efficient, and professional as Servins Tree Care. Jose was quick to respond to my request. He came out promptly to access and give me a quote on the work that I wanted to get done. His quote was reasonable for the amount of work. We set a date to get it done. I had to change the date and he was agreeable to reschedule and on that date he was on time early with his crew. The work was done in a short amount of time. They cleared all the overgrown junk trees, trimmed trees and then cleared all the debris and hauled it away. When they finished I could actually see all the fence and the entire yard. Jose and team did a great job. We put the job out to bid and he was the only vendor to make suggestions to keep the trees shape while the others wanted to hack at them to trim. The finished job looked amazing and we were very happy with the service, communication, price and cleanliness of the work. Also to add, my neighbor wanted her trees done and they were able to do them, same day, and within the window they projected. Matter of fact they were done sooner than planned. I had a tree that was hit by lightening months ago. A family member assured me that I had plenty of time to get it cut down. Turns out the tree died FAST!! On Thursday, October 28, 2021, Houston had super high winds that took down a lot of trees and knocked out power. I promised myself then and there that I would move forward with getting estimates to have the tree removed. Servin's Tree Care was recommended to me by a colleague. They provided the fastest and most-economical estimate for the tree removal and stump grinding. They scheduled our tree removal for the following Monday, November 1st. They had a crew of three and artfully removed the tree without incident within four hours. A neighbor of mine had a tree in very close proximity removed (the stump remains) and it took that company two full days to remove and they dropped all kind of debris onto my roof and carport. Mr. Servin runs an excellent tree care business and I intend to use him for all my tree needs in the future and have already started recommending him to family and friends. Jose and his crew did a really great job in just a couple of hours! Our big tree in the backyard needed a trim and it looks so refreshed now. The guys also made sure to not disturb a bird's nest on one of the branches. There is a ton of light and space with the other tree bushes removed too.
